Block Captains

What is a Block Captain?

- We are active participants in our Neighborhood Watch Program.

- We distribute monthly newsletters via paper or email.

- We act as a liaison between the Berwyn Police Department and the residents.

- We actively recruit new residents to our program.

- We keep our eyes and ears open for suspicious activity in our areas.

- We report such activity and encourage our neighbors to do the same.

- We listen to concerns and complaints in our area and pass information on to the Berwyn Police Departments or the City of Berwyn personnel.

- We welcome new neighbors to the area and ask for their involvement in the program.

- We ask neighbors to contact us when a crime or suspicious activity has occurred, but only after contacting the Berwyn Police Department.
