Any and all types of vehicles owned by residents of Berwyn or by businesses licensed in the City of Berwyn must be registered with the city and have affixed to said vehicle the applicable city sticker or tag on an annual basis. City Vehicle Stickers are valid from July 1st to and including June 30th of the following year. Vehicle stickers can be obtained at either:
Parking Division at the Berwyn Police Department (6401 West 31st Street).
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday
Collector’s Office at City Hall (6700 West 26th Street)
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday
Residential Parking Only between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. is in effect citywide. This restriction is in place seven days a week and is in addition to any other parking restrictions posted on your block. Therefore you must have your current City of Berwyn Vehicle sticker appropriately displayed on your windshield in order not to be ticketed. The parking penalty for vehicles without a current and valid vehicle sticker is $100.00.
To purchase a vehicle sticker you will need:
Vehicle registration with the resident’s Berwyn Address
Valid driver’s license for the owner of the vehicle
Proof of Insurance
Applicable fee for your type of vehicle
Vehicle Sticker FeesFollowing are the annual fees for vehicles:
(A) Motorcycles and passenger vehicles.
(B) Motor trucks, tractor-semi-trailer units and motor buses.

(1) A self-propelled vehicle operated as a tractor and semi trailer shall be considered as one vehicle in computing the license fee under this division, and an additional license fee shall be required for a semi-trailer so operated.
(2) The owner of each vehicle who has elected to pay a mileage weight tax to the state shall be licensed under this chapter.
(C) Recreational vehicles.
RV class vehicle stickers have an annual fee of $65.
(D) Trailers. A semi trailer used with any device for attaching it to a motor vehicle, a trailer or another semi trailer or trailer, using the public ways of the city, shall be licensed as a trailer, except when used as a self-propelled vehicle as provided in division (B) hereof.
